Visit to Holy Trinity Cathedral in Russe

The Holy Trinity Cathedral was built in 1632. It is one of the greatest sights of Russe due to its ancient history and unique architecture.
The guests of the Cathedral who enter it go down stairs four and a half meters below land surface instead of going up as it is in most churches. One can hardly imagine the striking impressiveness of inner spaces by watching the church from the outside. The proportion ratio harmony in space and the exquisite architectural style impress and excite strongly. There is a museum exhibition in the Cathedral where ritual articles and clothes as well as church book, including original Gospel from the XVI century, in which the date of building the church is recorded, are exposed.
